DHFF-4 wax is specifically designed for long runs on fresh, clean snow. It performs well in moderate temperatures and remains competitive even in colder conditions.
Application of wax to cross-country or alpine skis should be done with an iron and held for approximately 8-10 seconds. To improve adhesion, the wax can be cooled and warmed to room temperature (10 minutes). The wax will begin to melt after approximately one minute. A high-quality iron is essential for effective wax application.
Marathon wax can be used alone as a competition wax or as a base for sprays and other surface treatments. Recommended working temperature is 155 °C.
